Minimum Hardware Specifications

Processor

Pentium™ Processor. Pentium 4 recommended. May be fully compatible with equivalent processors.

Memory

512+ MB (may also depend on recommendations of the OS)

Video card

256 MB graphics card with OpenGL acceleration (common on newer cards, check manufacturer's specs on older cards), not integrated video, set at True Color (32 bit) and resolution at least 1024 x 768. Nvidia 256 MB or better gives the best results. Performance with other video cards varies greatly. As some problems have been reported, ask the list of tested video cards.

Hard Disk Size

1.5 GB free space for software installation & resources. More space to store images & embroidery designs (10+ GB is recommended).

Monitor

17” Color Monitor (or larger). Most newer monitors are multisync, which allows you to change refresh rate and horizontal scan rates and also offers more video resolution choices - check manufacturer's specifications to determine if your monitor is compatible.

Ports & I/O

1 CD-ROM/DVD drive. Fast speed drives are highly recommended

1 free USB 2.0 port is necessary for the security device.

At least one of the following (depending on your embroidery machine):

• Floppy disk drive
• Serial port (may require additional software or hardware)

Peripherals

1 Windows compatible mouse with thumbwheel (recommended).

1 Windows compatible printer.

(optional) 1 TWAIN compatible scanner. 1200 dpi resolution is Ok.

(optional) 1 digitizing tablet with a WinTAB driver.

The software supports the following OS:

The product was created as a native 32 bit Windows program, which means it takes advantage of the OS 32-bit processing. It is important that your system be fitted with the mentioned operating systems.

Internet

Even when it is not strictly necessary a permanent internet connection from the computer where the software is loaded, it is highly recommended to take the advantages of the Live-Update service, direct communication to the service & software support sites, plus the on-line promotions.

The software activation process requires an e-mail account to transfer files between your system and the manufacturer activation server.
