I have created some duplicate objects that serve my purpose, a simple embossed leaf, now I want to place it, but the 90 or 180 degree options are always apporpriate or doable for what I´m trying to accomplish. Is there a free rotate where I can manually grab the object somehow and turn it just as much or as little as I need? Thanks.

If you select any object and hold the Ctrl key down(then hover over any corner node, a little curcular arrow apears and you click on the node and rotate.

Ian´s method of Ctrl+click is a lot easier, but if you ever need to be super precise, like rotating a line that´s a hair off and you need it to be perfectly straight, you can also click on the object to select it, then go to the Block tab of the ribbon and click on the Rotation Angle icon. It´ll let you trace your own line, then set the actual degrees you need that line to be at.
