Here is just some info for everyone! Though the product is not officially supported on 64-bit Vista, I have been informed by Jorge that some customers seem to be able to run Stitch Era in 64-bit Vista by having the program run in "compatibility mode". I may give this a try as most new systems seem to come with 64-bit Vista instead of 32-bit Vista... Lynne

Lynne, I don´t run "Hasta La Vista", still on XP here. But I believe Lori and/or Ian told me it runs fine, and I don´t think they had to run it in compatibility mode. Hopefully they´ll jump in and offer some feedback.

I can run it just fine under normal 64-bit mode. I found no need to run it in "compatibility mode". Usually when applications need to be run in "compatibility mode" it is because they use a device, with the application, that does not have a 64-bit version of the device driver they are attempting to use (ie. printer or older USB device that has not 64-bit driver available). If you open your Task Manager on 64-bit Vista, and run a 32-bit application, you will see this indicated within Task Manager. Vista 64 will emulate a 32-bit environment for that application. However, there will be some applications (mostly older applications) that just will not run on Vista 64, unless you set the application to run in "compatibility mode" and even then it still may not run.

Being that Stitch Era is a newer application, you shouldn´t have any issues with running it under Vista 64. Afterall, pretty soon, that will be the standard Vista OS with newer PCs and laptops. Besides, if I can run it under Vista 64, then others shouldn´t have a problem either considering all the other issues I´ve come across, but have been worked out, or worked around since.
