Hello all - Well it is not clear to me how/where to report bugs in the software so I thought I´d try it here! (Also, I think it seems useful for all of us to know what is working and what is not). Here are a couple that I´ve found so far: (1) If you try to create Guidelines in the Options and Preferences window, you get a variety of errors when you try to select and delete guidelines from the list. Creating guidelines graphically from the View tab works just fine. (2) If you try to turn off the "Move grid origin with design start point" option in the Options and Preferences window (under Grid), it doesn´t stay off. It seems to be turned back on every time I return to the Options window. And here are some other things I´ve observed that I think may be of interest: (1) You must have video acceleration on in order to stop the "flashing" that occurs during Design Navigation - I had to set the acceleration to level 2. And (2), if you open an embroidery file from the Home tab rather than from the Embroidery Gallery, the origin is set to the upper left corner of the design instead of the center. I find this sort of annoying. But overall, this software sure is fun to learn!

Lynne, when you open a design from the Gallery, I´m assuming you´re opening a DST or other stitch file? If yes, that file will always be centered.

But when you open from the Home tab, are you also opening the same stitch file or is it a design you created and then saved as a DSG?

If it´s a DSG, it won´t necessarily be centered, which wouldn´t matter because you have to export it as a stitch file to sew it, and at that point, it becomes centered anyway (Machine Profile). Maybe that´s the difference you´re seeing?

Also, I don´t seem to have any issues working with Guidelines through the Options & Preferences menu, although I´ve always used them directly on the main work window.

Not sure if this will have something to do with it, but by all means, yes, you want your video acceleration set to the highest level your video card will handle, ideally 3.
