Is there a way to increase the stroke weight of vectors within Stitch Era? I´ve modified my design and saved it to DSG format, so I´d rather not have to go back to Illustrator just to increase the stroke weight. (I haven´t converted design to stitches yet, still is vector art.)

Pull Compensation (page 9-28) if the vectors were turned to Area objects, or Column Width (page 9-10) if they were turned to Path objects.

Oops, Vicky, you´d think I´d read better. I didn´t notice until now the important part of not having turned into stitches yet, so Pull Compensation and Column Width won´t do any good until you have digitized objects.
To change the width of the vector objects, you should be able to do that from the Vector ribbon, under the Format box. Page 6-16 has a screen shot if needed.

I found the 'outline widths' function, but when I have a vector line selected, it won´t change. I tried with "vectors only outline" and "vectors outline+body" selected. I´ve also made sure everything is ungrouped before selecting an outline. What am I missing here??????
