I can only save the DSG file and need to export, but it won´t let me and the export file is grey, what am I missing?

The trick is the little black arrow. Click on that... either on the quick access bar(next to the disk icon) or ERA button/save/ export.

Had same problem didn´t help to click on arrows. Was told that on design page there was an error message. It gave the location of stitches and I found them in object manager, either correct or delete the offending stitches so error message goes away. Then, you can export design. Makes sense, can´t export if design is flawed, so check it for that. RF

Sometimes a quick fix is a Ctrl+F9 to regenerate all stitches. If that still won´t let you export, then copy & paste the whole design into a blank window, that should do it.
