When I highlight or select an area around a image and when I move the cursor the whole thing is jumping all the time has anyone had the same problem

That might be a Video problem. Go to ribbon Home and click on Preferences / Options and Preferences. Go to Application/Workspace/Video card Settings. Enable Enhanced line drawing (antialias) if disabled. If Video hardware acceleration is set to NO, change it to 1 and press OK. If it is still shaking, change it to 2 or 3. If this doesn´t help, you should see if there´s a newer driver for your video card.
